April is Global Volunteer Month, a great time to recognize and promote volunteering. We know there are many benefits of volunteering. Join us on April 4 to learn more about why and how to volunteer. Lisa Fikes, CEO of the Leadership Center of Arlington, will share information about volunteer opportunities in Arlington, how people can learn more about them as well as how to select a opportunity that fits their skills and interests. Jane Nagy, Encore Learning Volunteer Coordinator, will also share about volunteer opportunities with Encore Learning. If you are currently enjoying a community volunteer position, we’ll invite you to share about that as well.
