Interested in being a class aide? Join us for an informal information session where you can:

  • Find out what Class Aides do
  • Hear from a few of our current Class Aides about why they enjoy volunteering
  • Ask questions and see if it's a good fit for you
  • Hear about the great benefits such as a complimentary future class
  • Enjoy some refreshments while you visit with other members

Class Aide Information

Benefits to Being a Class Aide for Encore Learning

Along with the rewarding experience of being a volunteer, Class Aides receive the following benefits:

  • In-Person Class Aides receive complimentary validated parking at the George Mason garage adjacent to Van Metre Hall if the class is at Mason or a complimentary class credit that may be applied during the following two semesters.
  • Virtual Class Aides receive complimentary class credit that may be applied during the following two semesters. The credit is awarded once the class is complete and applied to a future registration within the next two semesters.
