Thursday, October 29, 2026, 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM

Elections will be held in the world’s newest democracy (Israel) on October 27 and the world’s oldest democracy (U.S.) on November 3.  Join us as veteran political reporter Bill Schneider analyzes the results of the Israeli election– what happened and why.  Only days before the midterms, Bill will share his observations and insights about the contest to control both the Senate and the House of Representatives as well as individual races across the country.

Bill Schneider is a well-known political reporter and political analyst.  He served as CNN’s Senior Political Analyst from 1990 to 2009.  He is a distinguished Senior Fellow and Resident Scholar at Third Way, a Washington Think Tank.  In 2009, the International Foundation for Electoral Systems presented Mr. Schneider with a special award for “his extensive coverage and key insights of US presidential elections showcasing democracy in action to the world.”  He has taught at George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government.
